On November 1, 2018, Setter Inc. (“Setter”) secured a US$10 million in Series A funding co-led by Sequoia Capital and NFX, with participation from Hustle Fund, to expand across North America. This brings the Setter’s total funding to US$12 million following a US$2 million seed round from Sequoia, Hustle Fund and Avichal Garg last year. Setter will use the proceeds to expand across North America specifically into San Francisco Bay area.
Setter, based in Toronto, Canada, develops an application which connects homeowners with personal home managers. It allows users to book home maintenance and repair services, such as window cleaning, landscaping, installing a new furnace, and replacing countertops.
