On September 27, 2022, Sweet Reason Beverage Corp. announced it had been acquired by cannabis beverage producer CANN. With this acquisition, CANN plans to expand the Sweet Reason brand to tap into new market areas, such as low-THC and CBD-free versions of the product.
Sweet Reason is a Toronto-based CBD beverage company that produces a line of hemp-infused sparkling drinks. The brand is currently available for purchase direct-to-consumer or available for purchase in 800 stores across the United States.
