On September 21, 2021, TD Bank Group (TD) announced its data access agreement with Envestnet | Yodlee (Yodlee), signifying a move towards customer-directed finance and open access to customers’ financial data. This agreement enables TD, as directed by customers, to securely share financial data with Yodlee through an application programming interface (API) for use in connection with third-party applications powered by Yodlee’s data aggregation platform. Such API connectivity improves overall reliability and security, eliminating the need for customers to disclose their banking login IDs and passwords to receive data aggregation services.

TD is a North American financial institution serving over 26 million customers in the Canadian Retail, U.S. Retail and Wholesale Banking areas, with locations around the world.

Envestnet refers to the family of operating subsidiaries of the public holding company, Envestnet, Inc.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised TD with a team consisting of Wendy Gross and Erin Rubin (Technology).
