On October 5, 2020, Telus completed its $500 million offering of 2.05% senior unsecured notes due October 2030. The notes were offered through a syndicate of agents led by TD Securities Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc. The proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes such as investing in broadband networks, along with other capital investments aligned with the company’s growth strategy, and will also be put towards the repayment of commercial paper.
