On August 15, 2018, The Travelers Companies, Inc. acquired a majority stake in Zensurance through a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Pairing with Travelers would provide an opportunity to gain more insight into the insurance industry and build up Zensurance’s technology. It will also provide Zensurance with the expertise on accessing and evaluating European, Canadian and American data to make its pricing more accurate and signing insurance contracts more accessible.
Zensurance is a Toronto-based company that allows companies to access pricing on available business insurance packages and pre-authorize payments. For unavailable insurance packages, the company has a built-in dashboard to check on the status of applications.
