Celebrating Pride 2015

Osler is proud to be a leading advocate for the LGBT community through a variety of initiatives driven by our Diversity Committee. Osler’s Pride Network, an employee resource group led by Douglas Rienzo and Brandon Kerstens, supports Osler legal professionals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, and their allies, through professional development and networking. Osler is also a lead sponsor of Out on Bay Street and a member of Pride at Work.

At Osler, we are committed to diversity and celebrate the individual differences of our colleagues and clients. We strive to provide an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative professional environment to ensure that all of us can “bring our full selves” to work and nurtures a collective force of unique talents. By embracing difference, not only do we provide a better work environment for our people, but we deliver more creative and innovative solutions for our clients.

In celebration of Pride Toronto 2015, Osler and BMO jointly hosted a cocktail reception on June 18th for all of our clients and legal professionals. Highlighting our dedication to diversity and inclusion, the event was a successful kick-off to the biggest week of the year for the LGBT community. We were pleased to welcome Tim Kiladze, Business Reporter at The Globe and Mail, who shared his thoughts being gay on Bay Street. Our collaboration with BMO also underscores Osler’s culture of working with clients as partners, not only in business but in supporting our communities
