Mining & Natural Resources - Capital Markets

Given how volatile commodities can be, it’s not always easy to access capital in the mining and natural resource sector. However, access to capital is a must for those who want to develop new projects, both in Canada and abroad. With more miners looking to consolidate and take advantage of changing dynamics in this always-evolving sector, finding the right financing is a key strategy.

Mining companies must consider the entire breadth of capital market options when developing an expansion or takeover strategy. That could include equity financing, debt offerings, initial public offerings, convertible debt and hybrid issuances.

Osler’s Mining Group has helped large operations, mid-cap companies and junior miners secure financing for a range of initiatives. We also work with institutional investors, banks, pension firms and many others to obtain the right kind of financing for our clients’ specific needs.

We can help your business create a capital markets strategy to ensure you’re well capitalized to take advantage of opportunities in the future.
