Overview

The Insolvency and Restructuring Group of Osler’s Litigation Department is one of the largest groups of dedicated legal professionals in the Canadian insolvency marketplace. We are leaders in the field of corporate restructuring and we combine our talents with those of our colleagues in our Insolvency and Restructuring Group to guide domestic and cross-border clients through the intricacies of litigation.

In addition to insolvency and restructuring proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, we have a great depth of experience in all types of liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcies. We also pride ourselves on innovation in our field and count several firsts among our accomplishments. We are leaders in the area of cross-border insolvencies that involve the use of multi-jurisdictional protocols.
