Managing complex transactions to ensure required approvals are obtained in a timely and cost-effective fashion requires early implementation of a carefully designed strategy to manage the risks of potentially detailed and burdensome production requests (including supplemental information requests), pro-actively address any competition issues in written and oral submissions to the Competition Bureau and work effectively with economic and other third party experts.

Controlling the costs of a complex competition matter requires careful process management. We are leaders in implementing best practices in project management and process improvement, and have extensive experience designing and implementing such processes in a wide range of transactions.
