Averi received her J.D. from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction), in psychology (major) and business (minor).
Averi completed a work term at the Ministry of Attorney General, Justice Services Branch, working with their Policy and Legislation Team. During law school, Averi volunteered with all three of the University of Victoria’s Pro Bono legal clinics: the Environmental Law Centre, the Business Law Clinic, and the Law Centre. Averi was also on the Faculty of Law Curriculum Committee and held an executive role in the Access to Justice Club and Women in Law Club.
