Ben has completed his second year of the JD program at the University of Toronto. Prior to law school, he worked as an Assistant Negotiator for Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada. He obtained a Bachelors of Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University.
During his time at law school, Ben has been involved with the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, where he has worked on projects relating to the notwithstanding clause and Indigenous self-government. He is also the incoming Editor-in-Chief of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review. Ben participated in the Laskin Moot, placing as the second best oralist and as the top pair in the competition.
