Emily is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. During law school, she worked as a research assistant in property law, provided editorial assistance for a book on climate litigation cases, and competed in the Laskin Moot.

Before attending law school, Emily worked in urban planning, community development, and communications with a municipal agency and non-profit organizations.
