Emma Stirling

Emma earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in Spring of 2024. She served the university community as a volunteer with Student Legal Services, the Women’s Law Forum, and as a Student Mentor. In her first year, Emma showed early promise at mooting as co-recipient of the Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin Moot Award. After joining the UAlberta Law mooting team in her second year, she went on to represent the school at the Gale Cup and was part of the winning team in 2024 at the Wilson Moot, also earning a Third Place Oralist award. In third year, Emma worked as a Writing Fellow for the 1L Legal Research and Writing program and was recognized by her peers for her school community work and academic achievements by being named Class Valedictorian. Upon graduating, Emma clerked at the Court of King’s Bench in Calgary and is excited to return to Osler to complete her articling term.
