Hillary completed her J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Toronto.
At Osgoode, Hillary was involved with the student government as the Vice-President, External. She served as the Co-President for the Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights Osgoode Chapter, and the Co-President of the Korean Law Student Association. She volunteered as a mediator for the Osgoode Mediation Clinic, working at the Toronto Small Claims Court. She completed an exchange semester at the University of Edinburgh.
