Jameel Manji

Jameel is an Articling Student in Osler’s Toronto Office. He obtained his J.D. from Western Law. Before attending law school, Jameel completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in International Development from the University of Ottawa.

In law school, Jameel volunteered as a Case Manager with the Western Business Law Clinic and completed a Western Law Internship with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Canada. He was a finalist in the Cherniak Cup Trial Advocacy Competition and represented Western Law at the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Cup.

Prior to law school, Jameel worked for an International Non-Governmental Organization in Kenya, where he helped strengthen civil society advocacy and improve employment outcomes for vulnerable youth.
