Mackenzie completed his J.D. at the University of Manitoba. During law school, Mackenzie volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and was a member of the Faculty of Law’s Sports Committee. Mackenzie also clerked for a semester at the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench under Justice Chris W. Martin.
Prior to joining the firm, Mackenzie clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal under Justice L. Bernette Ho.
