Marie earned her J.D. from the University of Manitoba. During law school, she was awarded third-best oralist at the Michel-Bastarache Moot Court Competition. Marie also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and served as co-chair of the Grad Committee. Prior to law school, she was a team lead for the customer experience department at a tech company in Calgary.
