Parmida Esmaeilpour

Parmida Esmaeilpour is a third-year student in McGill’s combined J.D./B.C.L. program. She received her B.A. Hons. and M.A. in Political Science at the University of British Columbia.

At McGill, Parmida worked as a research assistant in business law and a Contributing Editor of the McGill Business Law Meter Blog. She also served as the Senior Editor of Inter Gentes, the McGill Journal of International Law & Legal Pluralism, Junior Managing Editor of the McGill Journal of Law and Health, Vice-President (Finance) of the McGill International Law Society, and caseworker for the Compass Startup Legal Clinic. Her essay on Canada’s regulatory framework for psychedelic substances was recently published in the journal Health Law in Canada

In addition to her involvement on campus, she completed a year-long clerkship at the Superior Court of Quebec with Honourable Thomas J. Davis, as well as a legal internship with The Citizen Lab.
