Rachel has completed her second year of the J.D. program at Western University. Prior to law school, she attended the University of Toronto where she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with a minor in Economics from the Rotman School of Management.
At Western, she worked as a Case Manager at the Western IP and Innovation Legal Clinic and tutored Contracts and Constitutional Law. In addition, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada where she provided clients with legal information regarding the rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords. She also held a leadership position at the Western International Law Association.
Last summer, Rachel worked with CIBC’s in-house legal team in the Capital Markets, Labour, Litigation, and Banking departments. Her prior work experience also includes a legal internship at a technology start-up, as well as representing both buyers and sellers as a Real Estate Agent.
While at Osler this summer, Rachel will be rotating through the Emerging and High Growth Companies and Corporate Groups.
