Yves-Jusslin Maniratanga joined Osler as a summer student in May 2025 after completing his third year in the BCL/JD program at McGill University.

During his studies, Yves received several awards, including the Merle Wertheimer and Sam Hornstein Entrance Scholarship, the Fasken-ICON Scholarship for Black and Aboriginal Students, and the top prize in the McGill African Students' Association Education Scholarship.
