Albina Mamonkina

Albina is an associate in the Insolvency and Restructuring Group. She is developing a broad corporate and commercial practice.

Albina is a graduate of the joint JD/MBA program at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business. Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours in International Bachelor of Business Administration at the Schulich School of Business where she also went on exchange to the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

While in law school, Albina served as the Co-President of the JD/MBA Students’ Association where she organized and oversaw events for JD/MBA students. She also participated in the Osgoode Business Clinic and the Advanced Business Law Workshops. At Schulich, she worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Business course, and she was a consultant and the Co-Managing Director of the York Consulting Group.

She was the recipient of the Hennick Medal for Academic Excellence for attaining the highest cumulative grade point average of the JD/MBA program and a recipient of the Graduating Student Award for Exceptional Leadership at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Albina joined Osler as a summer student in 2022 and completed her articles with the firm in 2023-2024.
