Deric Mackenzie Feder

Deric is Osler’s Assistant General Counsel who brings over 15 years of experience to the role. He has served as counsel for the Federal Government, a crown corporation, and an international bank; and he has held litigation, advisory, and executive leadership roles. As a member of the General Counsel’s Office, Deric advises on Osler’s legal affairs and risk management, including procurement, governance, compliance and conflicts.

Known for his rigorous, ethical and informed approach to his practice, Deric is a solutions-oriented and practically-minded legal practitioner who expertly navigates complex and novel matters with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
