Hemant provides tax and related advisory services, primarily to insurance and reinsurance companies and other insurance organizations. A significant component of Hemant's practice includes tax advice relating to executive compensation matters. Before his call to the Ontario Bar, Hemant had several years of experience as an actuary with two large Canadian life insurance companies. Hemant is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (1978) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (1977).
