Jagriti is a trusted advisor whose practice is focused on the energy, construction and infrastructure sectors. Her expertise includes advising off-takers, generators and other stakeholders on a wide array of matters including procurement, contractual agreements, development and finance matters related to electricity generation, power purchase, battery storage and transmission assets.
The construction and infrastructure projects she has worked on include mining, correctional facilities, schools, airports, renewable power projects, residential and mixed-use buildings, data centers, hospitals, food processing facilities and warehouses. She advises project participants, including owners (municipal and private), contractors, subcontractors, architects and engineers in procurement, contractual and project development matters including managing force majeure claims. She also provides strategic and practical advice to clients on legislative changes regarding prompt payment and adjudication across Canada.
Prior to joining Osler, Jagriti worked at several full-service national law firms in New Delhi, India from which she was also seconded to Apple’s India office. Prior to this experience, Jagriti served as Legal Counsel at the Investment Board of the Government of Nepal.
