Kristy-Anne Ruthenberg

Kristy-Anne practices intellectual property law with a focus on patent litigation.

Kristy-Anne received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. During law school, she received a number of distinctions including prizes for the highest standing in patent law and trademark law. 

Prior to law school, Kristy-Anne studied biomedical sciences at Laurentian University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science of Biomedical Biology and Master of Science with a specialization in Immunology and Microbiology. Kristy-Anne also obtained a second undergraduate degree in health education. She has experience conducting scientific research at the laboratory bench, has worked in pharmaceutical clinical trials, and taught science courses at the college and university level, all of which inform her practice.

Kristy-Anne joined the firm as a summer student in 2021. She then completed her articles with the firm from 2022 to 2023. She returned to the firm as an Associate in 2023.
