Michelle is an associate in the Emerging and High Growth Companies Group at our Vancouver office. A seasoned advisor, Michelle specializes in guiding entrepreneurs, start-ups, and venture-backed technology companies through every stage of their business lifecycle— from incorporation to exit.

Her practice also extends to advising a diverse range of investors, including venture-backed, angel, and strategic investors, as she helps her clients navigate the complexities of growing and scaling innovative businesses in an ever-evolving landscape. Michelle’s extensive experience includes advising on high-profile transactions, ranging from early-stage seed financings to transformative acquisitions. She is well-versed in corporate governance matters within the startup and venture capital ecosystem and leading clients through fund formation, venture financings, secondary sales, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Having worked with numerous high-growth technology companies, Michelle has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs as they build sustainable businesses. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the UBC Sauder School of Business, with a double specialization in Accounting and Real Estate, where she was recognized as the Most Outstanding Female Graduate. Michelle combines both legal expertise and business insight, providing her clients with practical, strategic advice that helps them thrive in a competitive market.

Michelle is currently an Executive on the Canadian Bar Association Young Lawyers, Lower Mainland Section. Outside of her legal practice, you can find Michelle on a volleyball or pickleball court, or travelling to a new country.
