Octavia Diaconu

Octavia is a Financial Services Lawyer of Osler Works – Transactional, a service that develops and utilizes innovative processes and leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency for Osler’s clients. Her practice is focused on a wide range of corporate and financing transactional matters, with a particular emphasis on secured lending to early-stage and high-growth technology companies.

Previously, Octavia worked in collaboration with Osler’s Emerging and High Growth Companies Practice Group, providing start-to-finish support for corporate transactions, contract analysis and legal due diligence, with a special focus on venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Osler, Octavia handled a variety of corporate and commercial matters at another Canadian law firm and drafted arbitration awards for domestic and cross-border commercial disputes with the Canadian Commercial Arbitration Centre. Her multidisciplinary experience and proficiency with advanced technologies enable her to handle a diverse range of legal matters creatively and efficiently.
