Pavit Sethi is a Senior Analyst at Osler’s Emerging & High Growth Group. In this role, he provides support to the practice as well as the issuer and investor clients. He provides research and financial advisory support to the team on various deals and client engagements. He leverages his financial expertise to build out complex proforma capitalization tables (convertibles, primary / secondary rounds, spin-offs, etc), distribution waterfalls, escrow analysis, options vesting, budgets, and other models on various financing and M&A transactions.
Another crucial aspect of his role is to support the practice internally with respect to client pitching, budgeting, and financial analysis. Being an active member of the startup ecosystem in the Vancouver region, Pavit also provides support on Osler’s business development initiatives, strategic partnerships, and involvement in the ecosystem.
Prior to joining Osler, Pavit has experience working in Corporate Development and Finance teams. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from the UBC Sauder School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder. He is also a Member of the Advisory Committee at Startup Vancouver and the Founding Member & President for South-Asian Venture Capital Association of Canada (SAVCA)
