Robert advises and represents clients in high-stakes class action and corporate litigation. He frequently represents financial institutions, auditors, mining companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, technology businesses and utilities.
Robert develops strategies to address disputes at an early stage. He has a strong track record of early decisive wins in significant lawsuits across Canada. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada and various appellate courts. Robert also proactively advises businesses on potential litigation risks and mitigation strategies.
Robert has written and spoken extensively on class action defense, particularly in the areas of securities, privacy, product liability and consumer law.
