Simone Livshits

Simone is an associate in Osler’s Disputes group, whose litigation practice focuses on health advocacy. Simone assists with providing strategic legal advice and representation to Hospitals and other health industry clients on all matters relating to health care in Canada.

Simone has assisted and advocated for Hospitals and other health industry clients in a broad range of matters, including civil actions, privileges and credentialing matters, risk management, human rights, workplace investigations, health privacy and access to information,  and professional regulation. She has appeared before a range of levels of court in Ontario as well as numerous administrative and statutory tribunals, including Medical Advisory Committee meetings and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board.

Simone also has a broad commercial litigation practice, particularly in the areas of construction and employment litigation. She is co-Chair of the Osler Pride Network and a regular volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario.

Simone obtained her J.D. from Dalhousie University and her Bachelor of Science from McGill University. Simone joined Osler in 2020 as a summer student and completed her articles with the firm in 2021-2022.
