Stephen is an associate in the Insolvency and Restructuring Group of our Calgary office. Stephen has experience in insolvency proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and court-appointed receiverships.
Stephen has acted for all parties involved in restructuring and receivership proceedings including private and public debtors, private equity and institutional lenders, purchasers, monitors, trustees and receivers.
Stephen has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench and the Court of Appeal in Alberta, as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Prior to joining Osler, Stephen worked in the Insolvency and Restructuring Group with an international law firm in Calgary.
