Ainsley is a student in the J.D. program at the University of Western Ontario. Before attending law school, Ainsley obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Brescia University College at the University of Western Ontario, with a double major in Political Science and Sociology.
In law school, Ainsley serves as the Co-President of the Gender and the Law Association and works as a Managing Editor of the Western Journal of Legal Studies. She held a research position with Professor Wade Wright working on the Constitutional Law of Canada treatise. Ainsley also represented Western Law in the Bowman National Tax Moot, along with her teammates.
During her time at Brescia University College at Western, Ainsley worked on several initiatives focused on advocacy and increasing the representation of women in politics, as a student board member of Women & Politics London, the Director of Governance for Western Student Senators, and a Co-Founder of the Changemak(h)er conference.
