Alina is an associate in the National Tax Group in the Vancouver office practicing primarily in the area of Canadian domestic and cross-border income tax law. She advises on tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, debt and equity financing, cross-border transactions and international taxation. She also assists in tax dispute resolution.

Alina served as a tax policy officer with the Department of Finance Canada working on matters relating to financial institutions, financial instruments and resident and non-resident trusts.  She also interned at the United Nations in New York.
