Brendan has recently completed his second year of the JD program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He also studied computer engineering and business at the University of Victoria, where he graduated with distinction in 2007. He then spent ten years in an engineering and management career that spanned two Fortune-ranked multinational corporations and two renewable energy technology start-up companies.
Immediately prior to law school, Brendan worked at an experimental nuclear fusion energy technology company where he directed several multidisciplined engineering projects, spearheaded an open innovation and crowdsourcing initiative, and helped secure over $80M in government financing. In this role, he also directed an innovative data science project, collaborating with an industry consortium that included a prominent technology company.
Brendan is actively involved in the Faculty of Law community at the University of Toronto. As an elected representative of the Students’ Law Society for all three years of his JD, Brendan sits on the law school’s Faculty Council and on the Dean’s Curriculum Committee.
While at Osler, Brendan will be working with the Corporate, Technology, and Emerging and High Growth Companies groups.
