Frédéric has a broad litigation expertise with a strong focus on white-collar defense and class action matters. He advises predominantly corporate clients, public issuers, market participants and institutions in a wide range of investigations, fraud and other financial crime matters, including foreign corruption. Frédéric is regularly involved in enforcement proceedings involving various regulators and public bodies as well as in competition and securities class actions across various industries.
An important component of Frédéric’s practice includes acting as a trusted advisor with regard to anti-corruption, sanction, governance, compliance and prelitigation advice.
Frédéric also represents clients in employment and labour disputes and highly complex commercial litigation involving constitutional, public and administrative law.
Frédéric has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, Québec Court of Appeal, Québec Superior Court, Court of Québec and before courts in the province of Ontario as well as various regulatory and administrative tribunals.
Above and beyond his active practice, Frederic is also very involved in the legal community notably as founder of the Québec division of the Young Advocates’ Standing Committee, a division of The Advocates’ Society.
