Geneviève is an associate in the Montreal office and a member of the corporate law practice group. Her practice focuses on corporate finance, emerging companies, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments.  Geneviève has acted for private equity and venture capital funds and institutional investors in their portfolio investments and divestitures and for corporations in connection with corporate finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

    • Luxury Retreats International Inc., in connection with its acquisition by Airbnb Inc.
    • Hopper Inc., in connection with its Class D preferred financing totalling approximately $82 million led by Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and including other existing institutional investors of the company.
    • TPG Capital LP, in connection with its agreement to form a partnership (with Fosun, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Guy Laliberté) and to acquire the Cirque du Soleil (the largest private equity deal in Québec in 2015).
    • Groupe ST, in its acquisition of VideoWave Networks Inc.
    • Amaya Gaming Group Inc., in connection with the sale of Ongame Network Limited by its wholly owned subsidiary, Cryptologic Limited, to NYX Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited as well as the related investment of Amaya Gaming Group Inc. in NYX Gaming Group Ltd. by the issuance of a convertible debenture.
    • Blockstream Corporation, in a US$21 million seed preferred share financing.
    • CAE Inc., in its $19.8 million acquisition of the shares and assets of the military aviation training business of Bombardier Inc.
    • Unique Solutions Design Ltd., a company commercializing proprietary technology and data analytics for body scanning and clothes sizing, in connection with its reorganization by plan of arrangement and the creation of MeID, Inc.
    • Beyond the Rack Enterprises Inc., in connection with rounds of financing totalling over $50 million.
    • Persistence Capital Partners, in the sale of its portfolio company, MedAxio Insurance Medical Services, to Gamma-Dynacare, a Canadian subsidiary of LabCorp (NYSE: LH).
    • Gaz Métro Limited Partnership, in connection with numerous private placements of debt and equity securities.
    • Gaz Métro Limited Partnership, in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Central Vermont Public Service Corporation for $472 million, through its subsidiary NNEC.
    • Gaz Métro Plus Limited Partnership, in connection with the sale of its investment in HydroSolution.
    • SCL Elements Inc., in its sale to Schneider Electric, a global energy management company.
    • Alfa Capital Inc., in connection with the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of The Vulcan Hoist Company and the related financing.
