Glorie practises exclusively in the area of pensions and employee benefits. Glorie advises plan sponsors and administrators of provincially and federally registered pension plans, and other benefit plans, on matters related to plan design, administration and compliance.
Glorie has experience dealing with matters related to ongoing legal and regulatory compliance, plan governance, day-to-day pension and benefit plan administration and the negotiation and drafting of plan documents. Glorie has assisted plan sponsors and administrators with risk management, governance reviews, member communications, plan amendments, plan windups and family law issues related to pensions. Glorie also has experience dealing with pension issues arising in insolvencies and has advised boards of trustees with respect to their fiduciary duties.
Glorie’s pensions and benefits practice is informed by her background working in pensions and benefits consulting at a leading Canadian actuarial consulting firm and her previous litigation experience in the areas of human rights and labour law.
