Jenny graduated with her J.D. from the University of Victoria and completed her first year at Osgoode Hall Law School of York University. She obtained her Bachelor of Sciences (BSc) from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Biology.

Prior to law school, Jenny worked as a consultant at the World Health Organization (WHO). Her experiences include policy research on health system governance and research on the Pandemic Influenza Preparedness (PIP) legal framework. She also worked as a visiting scholar at the World Trade Organization (WTO), gaining experience in international trade law.
