Jessie has completed her second year of the J.D. program at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University and worked at a large Canadian telecommunications company.
While at Osgoode Hall, Jessie worked as a student caseworker at the Investor Protection Clinic, representing retail investors who suffered investment losses and could not afford a lawyer. As part of her role at the clinic, Jessie led investor education inatitives under the supervision of Professor Poonam Puri. Alongside her studies, Jessie has competed in Osgoode Advocacy Society negotiation and mediation competitions. In her second year, Jessie was selected to represent Osgoode at the 2020 INADR International Law School Mediation Competition in Chicago where she was recognized for her performance. In her final year, Jessie looks forward to participating in Osgoode’s Advanced Business Law Workshop on Mergers & Acquisitions.
As a summer law student at Osler, Jessie will be working in the Corporate and Competition / Antitrust and Foreign Investment practice groups.
