Kenza is an associate in Osler’s Intellectual Property Department. Kenza practices intellectual property law with a focus on patent litigation and commercial IP matters. She advises clients across a broad range of innovation-intensive industries including pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing, and software and technology. Kenza has appeared before the Federal Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.

Prior to her legal career, Kenza completed both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa and worked for Brookfield, managing hydropower assets and advising energy traders on operational strategies. Kenza is a licensed Professional Engineer and a member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).

Kenza joined Osler as a summer student in 2015 and completed her articles with Osler’s Corporate Group in the Calgary office. Prior to returning to Osler, she served as a law clerk to the Honourable Mr. Justice George R. Locke of the Federal Court of Canada.

Kenza is dedicated to issues relating to equal access to justice in French and currently serves as the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Official Languages Committee. She regularly writes and speaks on language rights issues.
