Leah practices intellectual property law, with a focus on patent litigation.
Leah received her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, where she completed an externship with the Structural Genomics Consortium. Leah competed in the Copyright Policy Moot 2020 where she won Best Policy Briefing and Best Memorandum to Cabinet with her partner.
Leah is a trained scientist and worked as a chemist for Apotex Inc. prior to law school. Leah completed her Master of Science in Toxicology at the University of Saskatchewan and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Guelph. While at the University of Saskatchewan, Leah obtained two NSERC CREATE program certificates in Human and Environmental Risk Assessment and Integrated Training Program in Infectious Disease, Food Safety and Public Policy.
Leah joined the firm as a summer student in 2018 and 2019 and completed her articles with the firm in 2020-2021. She returned to the firm as an Associate in 2021.
