Malini is Osler’s Osler Works – HR lawyer, dedicated to transforming the practice of employment and labour law by using a combination of people, process and technology. Based in Osler’s Ottawa office, Malini leverages cutting-edge legal software to innovate Osler’s employment and labour practice and drive down client cost. Her innovation projects include adapting document automation software to ensure fast and accurate drafting of employment-related agreements, as well as adapting artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to enhance due diligence reviews.

In addition to her work with Osler Works – HR, Malini regularly advises the Employment & Labour team on a wide range of issues in employment and labour relations law, including corporate transactions, employment standards, privacy, human rights, workplace harassment and investigations, occupational health and safety, and employee terminations. Malini provides strategic advice on employment- and labour-related litigation exposure for Canadian and U.S. clients, as well as drafting assistance for their contractual arrangements.
