Patrick practices mining, M&A and capital markets transactional law with an emphasis on advising public companies in the mining, technology, private equity and beverage industries. He has acted on several of the most significant mining transactions in Canada in recent years and has deep industry expertise having advised a wide range of clients in connection with joint venture, option, mineral property acquisition, royalty and streaming agreements and mineral tenure issues. He also regularly advises on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions on behalf of issuers and underwriters, reorganizations, issuer bids, all manner of debt transactions, compliance with stock exchange rules and continuous disclosure obligations. Additionally, he advises on corporate governance matters including proxy contests and other shareholder disputes.
