Samuel is a lawyer and Head of the Translation Practice Group. He practices in the Legal Translation Department of the firm’s Montréal office and has done so for more than 15 years. His practice focuses on securities and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial matters.

    • Reviewing French version long form, short form and shelf prospectuses (and related documents) for issuers in the financial services, technology, biopharmaceutical and real estate sectors and providing legal advice thereon.

    • Reviewing French version take-over bid circulars, directors’ circulars and management information circulars prepared in connection with M&A transactions and providing legal advice thereon.

    • Reviewing proxy circulars for annual or special meetings of shareholders of large financial institutions and industrial companies.

    • Reviewing various types of contracts prepared by companies active in the financial services industry and in all major industrial and services areas.
