Sanzida is a paralegal in the Financial Services and Real Estate Practice Groups. Her responsibilities include conducting and reporting on security searches and analyzing search results at the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights (RPMRR), Bank Act (Qc) and Register of Bankruptcy and Insolvency. She prepares applications for registration of hypothec agreements, lease agreements, cession of ranks, name changes, discharges, etc. and arrange for their filing at the RPMRR. She also coordinates different searches (corporate, Personal Property Security Act (PPSA), litigation, etc.) with the Osler office(s) in the Common Law provinces and in the United States of America. Sanzida also handles RPMRR filings related to securitization transactions.

Within the Real Estate Practice Group, she conducts searches at the Land Registry and in some public databases (cities and school boards, etc.) for matters related to real estate transactions. She  prepares Deeds of mainlevée and Notices of Commercial Lease and arranges for their execution and filing at the Land Registry. She also communicates with different authorities to conduct the off-title searches and prepare off-title summaries in connection with real estate transactions under the supervision of the Real Estate department.

Prior to joining Osler in July 2011, Sanzida worked as a paralegal for a major real estate corporation. She also worked in the legal department of a world-renowned financial corporation where she participated in security interpretation and policies, due diligence and approving insurance certificates in financing transactions.
