Scott has completed his second year of the Juris Doctor program at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law. Before law school, he obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering in Civil-Environmental Engineering from the University of Alberta where he graduated with distinction.
While at the University of Calgary, Scott has worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Fenner Stewart, supporting research in regulatory and constitutional issues pertaining to Canada’s energy sector. He also served as Student Editor of the Faculty of Law’s legal commentary blog, ABlawg, and sat on the student editorial board of the Alberta Law Review. Scott will be an Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Alberta Law Review for 2019-2020. Scott also has extensive experience as a Professional Engineer, consulting on remediation and reclamation projects for the energy industry in western Canada and the United States.
