Swetha is an associate in our Litigation Group. She maintains a general civil and litigation practice.
Swetha graduated from the J.D. program at the University of Toronto. While at U of T, she was an active participant in Pro Bono Students Canada, and volunteered with the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and the Association for Media Literacy. She was also an Upper Year Case Worker at Downtown Legal Services. In her third year, she attended the University of Amsterdam Faculty of Law on exchange and studied International Trade Relations.
Prior to attending law school, Swetha obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology with a double major in Life Sciences and graduated with distinction. She also obtained a Master of Science in Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia with a thesis focusing on sex differences in psychiatric illnesses.
Swetha joined Osler as an associate in 2016 after summering and articling at the Toronto Office of another major Canadian national firm. She previously worked as a summer student at the Ministry of the Attorney General (Crown Law Office Civil) and completed a secondment to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
