Lee is a partner in the National Intellectual Property Department. Mr. Webster’s practice has a strong focus on the structuring of comprehensive technology and IP licensing, joint venture, R&D and other related commercial arrangements having a strong focus on the exchange of technology and IP. His practice also encompasses the full range of IP services, including corporate transaction and litigation support, trademark acquisition, licensing and infringement, and counselling on IP portfolios. Recent notable matters include acting on behalf of and structuring technology licensing and sharing arrangements for significant projects in the nuclear energy, financial services, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, biotech and electronics fields. Mr. Webster is a founding member of the Canadian Intellectual Property Council. He is a registered trademark and patent agent and has written and spoken extensively on intellectual property and related issues.
