The Pro Bono Cause
Toronto's Social Circus Circle is a member of a worldwide movement that fosters self-confidence, trust, expression, cooperation and team building among high-risk young people. It provides workshops that teach circus arts and other creative skills (dance, visual arts, music and theatre) through youth programs, non-profit organizations and high schools. Along with serving various Toronto communities, team members have also worked in a range of locations across Canada and the globe, including communities in Western Canada, the Arctic, Brazil, South Africa and Japan.
The Osler Pro Bono Connection
Osler partner Kelly Moffatt discovered the world of Social Circus Circle through her love of hip hop and helped incorporate the organization as a charity. Along with Osler colleagues, Kelly provides day-to-day corporate and commercial advice to this impressive creative endeavour.
