Louis is an associate in our Litigation Group. He maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice.
Louis graduated from the University of Toronto with degrees in law and global affairs. At law school, he completed an internship with the Burma Lawyers’ Council in Mae Sot, Thailand and worked as a research assistant for Professor Jacob Ziegel. He was a competitor and then coach for the University of Toronto’s Gale Cup Moot team. An active university debater, he won the Canadian National Debating Championship in 2013 and the North American Debating Championship in 2014.
Prior to law school, Louis obtained his Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and completed internships with the Office of the Minister of Finance in Ottawa and at Unilever Canada in Toronto.
Louis joined firm as a summer student in 2013 and returned to complete his articles in 2014-2015. He was seconded to Osler’s New York office as a summer student and to the Royal Bank of Canada as an articling student. Louis returned to the firm as an associate in 2015.
